Motion Typography

I found both of these videos whilst researching motion typography. This is relation to the Bahookie project. The versatility of text, characters and letter forms allows a huge creative freedom as we can see in both of the videos, which are both incredibly unique.

Looking into the possibilities of motion typography is something I intend to spend time on.

Awesome skate board

When researching for the identity brief I stumbled across this wooden skate board. The grain design is etched into the wood and looks quite remarkable. It really stood out to me as an outstanding piece of design.

The grain or the use of the wood also relates to No Sweat as an ethical piece of design as it uses natural materials. Material is something that I should look at in detail.

Lack of Posts

I must apologise for a lack of posts. 

The identity brief took up a lot of time which was dedicated to the sketch book rather then on screen. I promise to upload a bunch of images, research and development from that project in the near future.

Currently I am sat in an office in Phoenix, AZ working on an annual report for a local health services company. I am enjoying my experiences out here and will report back with more news!

black thumbs blog

I have struggled today to upload videos to the blog my group is using for the interactive project. One video was successful and I will try again at a later date to add to the black thumbs blog. All of my blogging for this project can be found there.

Flicking through an old copy of 442 I found in my room I came across this advert by Puma. Entirely in gold the DPS is ridiculously effective and one worthy of sharing!

black thumbs Blog

I have just started the black thumbs blog for the interactive project. Once Anna and Toby are registered to post we can crack on with some serious blogging and hopefully our interactive project will have a sick outcome. The ideas that are floating about are going to allow us to be creative and have fun with this!

Custom t-shirts

These t-shirts aren't related to the course but I designed both and got them printed today! The white one has my brand which I put on all pieces of relevant freelance stuff at the moment and I love it. The blue shirt is just a bit of fun but I think it looks 'sick' and I am sure ill be wearing it pretty often.

I am currently designing more, watch this space!
